Tony served on the Curraha committee for many years in various different roles, including that of Chairperson and was in that role when Curraha won the 1976 Junior Championship.  He was instrumental in the club raising the funds to purchase our own playing grounds - Joe McDermott Park and played a vital role in organising the building of the clubhouse. A great clubman and loyal servant to Curraha GAA, he always set a fine example. Tony's family, from different generations, have all been very heavily involved with the club, on the playing field, as committee members and great supporters. Tony's two grandsons, Andrew and Ian, were members of the squad that won this year's Intermediate Championship - Tony would be proud of his grandson's and the club's achievements.
