A native of Tulla, Kilkenny, Bob was the wife of Tony Callaghan, a former chairman of Duleek GFC. She was the mother of   Bernard Callaghan, also a former chairman of Duleek and of the Duleek Bellewstown club. Another son Tom is the Meath County Board I.T. Officer. During the 1960s and 70s Bob was heavily involved  at behind the scenes activity with Duleek and this is where her culinary and organisational skills came to the fore. She is survived by Bernard, Tom, Mary, Anita, Gay, Tony, John and Paddy all of whom were involved with the club over the years.
