Meath star Niamh Gallogly has been honoured with The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month award for July.
The news comes as a boost to the Royal County ahead of next Sunday’s TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship final against Dublin at Croke Park (4.15pm).
From the Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels club, 28-year-old Niamh has played a key role in Meath’s march to a third All-Ireland Senior Championship Final.
As Meath came through the challenge of Tipperary at the quarter-final stage on July 6, Niamh registered 1-2 in a Player of the Match performance.
A hugely versatile player throughout her career, Niamh has been operating in an attacking role in more recent times and is thriving in the half-forward line.
As Meath put 2024 winners Kerry to the sword at the semi-final stage, Niamh produced another industrious display to help her side to a famous victory.
Niamh was presented with her award by Olivia Colgan, Business Development Executive, the Croke Park Hotel.
