Wolfe Tones 2-12 Boardsmill 0-9
Wolfe Tones claimed the Meath Under 15 Division 3 Hurling League title with this nine point win over Boardsmill at Grangegodden.
The winners got a great start with a Tom McKeown goal in the opening minutes and led at the break 1-5 to 0-4. Centre forward Cathal Matthews chipped in with three points while Eagan Fitzsimons also landed three points for Boardsmill.
McKeown and Cathal Matthews extended the Tones lead with early second half points before their second goal arrived courtesy of full forward Evin Spillane. Fitzsimons added four more to his tally but the winners finished strongly with a Matthews brace and one from Aaron Matthews to run out deserving winners.
After the game Enda Lydon presented the cup to Wolfe Tones captain Padraig McKeown.
