The second game on Saturday at a wet and dreary Lomans Park saw Lismullen N.S. make up for last years disappointing final day loss to Gaelscoil na Mí Ashbourne to claim their first ever Developing Camogie Shield title.
Holding the opposition scoreless and with two goals from Cara Reynolds the winners went in at the break 2-1 to 0-0 in front. Lucy Coules gave Longwood a lifeline in the early stages of the second half with a goal but from there on the girls in black controlled matters. 1-3 from joint captain Poppy Kiernan made sure that Lismullen were making a little bit of history at the Trim venue
