Glenisk O'Connor Park Tullamore

Meath will take on Kildare in the Paul McGirr Cup - Tier 2 All-Ireland MFC Final this Saturday at Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore.

Following their disappointing exit from the Leinster MFC at the quarter final stage to eventual winners Offaly Joe Crowley’s charges have regrouped and have played exceptional football to reach the decider accounting for Galway, Monaghan and Donegal.

These two met in the group stages of the Provincial campaign and a late scoring burst from Kildare earned them a 3-14 to 1-15 win at Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbridge.

Meath GAA have moved Saturday’s All County Football League fixtures to give supporters an opportunity to attend and support the team. Those games will be moved to either Thursday, Friday, or Sunday.

The final will be played after the Tailteann Cup game between Offaly and New York which throws in at 2pm.

The Tailteann Cup game is a ticketed event, however anyone entering Glenisk O’Connor Park after half time in the first game will NOT require a ticket.

Throw in for the McGirr Cup final is at 4.15pm
