Cork boss Pat Ryan says his team has worked very hard on its efficiency when it comes to scoring goals in games.
The Rebels hit the net four times during last night’s victory over Galway which has sent towards an Allianz League Division 1A final meeting with Tipperary in two weeks’ time.
Speaking to RTE Sport after his side’s 4-22 to 0-22 win against the Tribesmen at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, Ryan hailed his players’ ruthlessness in front of goal.
"I think everyone is always trying to get after goals," he said.
"Obviously we have very dangerous forwards inside, I think part of the reason we didn’t win the All-Ireland last year was because we weren’t clinical enough in that area. We’d great efficiency on points and stuff like that but our efficiency on goal-taking wasn’t good enough and we have worked very, very hard on that.
"Obviously league is different to championship, all our focus is really on 20 April (Munster SHC v Clare) and how we can get better for that day."
