St Peter's, Dunboyne...2-14
St Colmcille's...1-13
After a very depleted Dunboyne side came up short against Ratoath on Saturday last, Ger Robinson's side came away from Pilltown with two hard earned Feis Cup points on Thursday night.
The visitors got away to a fine start here with two-point scores from Dan Hickey and Jason Gleeson before a goal from the former of the aforementioned pair gave those who last lifted the said trophy in 2004 a four point buffer at the change of ends.
Despite playing into the elements in the second half, the home side's profligacy, coupled with a Cathal Melia goal and what ended up being a hat-trick of two point scores from Liam Byrne left things nicely poised with one round of group games to go in which Dunboyne will face Seneschalstown.
