The Under 19 football championship wrapped up another very bust Meath GAA football season.
Having lost the Minor Football Championship final two years ago Seneschalstown came good to claim the Meath Under 19 Division 1 FC title. In a low scoring encounter a late Jamie Norris free gave the Yellow Furze men their first Joey McKeown Cup success since 1992.
Four goals were crucial as Gaeil Colmcille withstood a Walterstown second half come back to claim the Division 2 title under lights at Dunganny.
Dunshaughlin Under 19’s completed a memorable year for the Black and Amber by taking home the Division 3 crown.
St. Michaels Nobber had three points to spare over Wolfe Tones in the Division 4 final while Drumbaragh finished the season in style when beating a fancied St. Vincent’s Curraha in the Division 5 decider at a stormy Paddy O’Brien Park.
