Dunderry 2-13 Wolfe Tones 1-09

Dunderry made it two wins from two with a 2-13 to 1-09 win over the Tones in the Meath Under 21 Division 2 Hurling Championship played in Kilberry Sunday morning.

Dunderry opened the scoring from an Evan Nolan free early but The Tones hit back straight away and it was score for score after 15 mins of the first half until Nolan went for goal with a free which found the back of the net from there the black and whites pushed on and another Nolan goal from play and a point from Shane O'Brien had them 2-06 to 0-06 ahead at the break.

The Tones came out fighting in the second half with 3 unanswered points before Nolan, Cian Coogan and Rian Fay had 4 unanswered for the Dunderry side who pushed on til the end with another 3 points before Tones goaled late in the game, Evan Nolan impressive for the winners with 2-09, also showing up wellfor the winners, Jamie Duffy, Darragh Fay, Liam Coogan, and Conor Sheridan
