Meath 2-12 Kerry 3-5

Meath advanced to the All Ireland Intermediate camogie quarter final after this four point win over Kerry at Rathmolyon.

Ellen Burke had the home side on the scoreboard first and minutes later Amy Gaffney was in for the Royals first goal. Aoife Carey extended Meath’s lead before Amy O’Sullivan brought the visitors back into the game with a three pointer. O’Sullivan had Kerry in front five minutes later with another goal. Kerry led at the break 2-3 to 1-4.

Points from Olivia O’Halloran and Ciara Foley tied up the game two minutes into the second half but again the home side were rocked with another Kingdom goal, this time from midfielder Patrice Diggan.

By the midway point Meath were back in front 1-10 to 3-3 before a Ciara Foley goal put daylight between the side. Foley and Gaffney completed the Meath tally and the Royals can look forward to an All Ireland quarter final date with four points to spare.
