Claregalway are the Division 1 Boys Féile na nGael champions for 2022.
The Galway side recorded wins over St Jude’s (Dublin), Naas (Kildare) and Ballyboden St Enda’s (Dublin) before goals from Ronan Duggan, Cormac Feeney and Stephen Brennan helped them to a 3-2 to 0-6 victory over Kerry’s Austin Stacks in Saturday’s final at the GAA National Games Development Centre in Abbotstown.
New York took the LGFA Division 1 title with a 3-8 to 0-2 win over Galway’s Naomh Mhuire. Ava Fitzsimons scored two of their goals, with Catlin Cronin grabbing the other.
Westport (Mayo), St Patrick’s, Dromintee (Armagh), Monaleen (Limerick) and Boston were crowned Boys Division 2, 3, 4 and 5 champions respectively.
The LGFA Division 2 winners were Carryduff of Down. Tyrone’s Kildress claimed the Division 3 title, Ballymaguigan of Derry triumphed in Division 4, while St Ergnat’s from Antrim took the Division 5 spoils.
