Tony Kelly has gone straight back into the Clare team for tomorrow's Allianz Hurling League Division 1A clash with Offaly in Tullamore (throw-in 2pm).

The three-time All-Star and former Hurler of the Year is named at centre-forward in what will be his first appearance for the Banner County since last July's All-Ireland qualifier defeat to Cork having underwent surgery on an ankle injury.

Brian Lohan's hand has been strengthened further by the return of Peter Duggan to the match-day squad after a three-year absence.

Clare head for the midlands still awaiting their first win of the campaign after defeats to Wexford and Cork in the opening two rounds.
