O'Donovan appointed CEO/Operations Manager of Wexford GAA

Wexford senior football manager Shane Roche, Wexford county board chairman Micheál Martin and Wexford senior hurling captain Matthew O'Hanlon at the launch of Wexford GAA's five-year strategic plan (2021-25) Ar Aghaidh Linn le Chéile at Chadwicks Wexford Park.

The Vice-Chairperson of Buffers Alley GAA has been appointed at the CEO/Operations Manager of Wexford GAA.

Gary O’Donovan is a Chartered Accountant who joins from INNOVATE where he was Chief Financial Officer.

“Gavin will be responsible for working with the County Executive to develop the vision and strategies of the GAA within the county and for implementing short and long-term plans to achieve the Association’s goals,” said County Chairman Michael Martin. 

“He will provide direction and leadership to management and staff and oversee the effective development of Wexford GAA."

O’Donovan has played hurling and football with Dunnamaggin, Crumlin and Buffers Alley, managed and coached various teams and held numerous administrative roles. He is currently Vice-Chairperson of Buffers Alley GAA Club and is involved in coaching at nursery and U6 Camogie levels.
