Kevin O’Brien, who led Clonkill to back-to-back Westmeath SHC titles in the last two years, will be a busy man next year.
Not only will he take charge of the Westmeath U20 hurlers, he will also manage Offaly senior outfit Ballinamere. The Downs-based garda replaces Johnny Greville as Westmeath U20 manager, while he also fills the void left by Padraig Hannon in Ballinamere.
Joining O’Brien in Ballinamere will be coach Adrian O’Sullivan, who also worked alongside him during his time in charge of Clonkill.
