Mary Briscoe (nee Murphy) from Termonfeckin passed away on July 20th, 2014, aged 72. Originally from Pearse Park in Drogheda, Mary married Ned Briscoe, who was a prominent footballer with St Fechins. The club provided a perfect way of becoming involved in the social aspect of the village and Mary was soon rubbing shoulders with the wives and girlfriends of other players. St Fechins marked her death when observing a minute's silence prior to their 2014 Louth IFC clash with St Josephs.
