Benny McConnon, Tatreeta, Dundalk passed away on Sunday, December 4th, 2011, aged 80. The last surviving member of his family, Benny was a loyal supporter of Roche Emmets GFC and he regularly helped them out with maintenance work on their playing surface. Members of the club formed a guard of honour at his removal.
