The extended communities of Dunleer, Drogheda, Mid-Louth and much further afield were plunged into grief when eleven-year-old Conor Callaghan of The Springs, Cappogue, Dunleer died suddenly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Friday, August 18th, 2017. Son of Justin and Selina, Conor played for St Kevins at juvenile level and was also an underage player with Dromin FC.
