Meath county board have secured the use of Croke Park for their home games in the Allianz Football League next year.

With Pairc Tailteann set to be unavailable due to redevelopment works at the Navan grounds, it’s thought that the Royals’ matches may form part of some league double headers with Ger Brennan's Dublin side at GAA headquarters in 2026.

It’s hoped that work on Pairc Tailteann will commence in either November or December, with one of the first tasks being the demolishment of the main stand.

All-Ireland semi-finalists this past summer, Robbie Brennan’s men will again be playing in Division 2 of the Allianz League in 2026 having finished a point off Roscommon who joined Monaghan in promotion to the top tier.
