Derry manager Paddy Tally has an injury crisis on his hands ahead of Sunday week’s Ulster SFC opener against Donegal.
Anton Tohill has been ruled out along with Brendan Rogers and Conor McCluskey after suffering a broken hand in the Oak Leafers’ Allianz League final round loss to Armagh last Sunday. The midfielder was expected to start in Ballybofey after recently nailing down a regular starting spot.
Rogers remains sidelined with the ankle injury he sustained in Derry’s Allianz League loss to Donegal in Ballyshannon on March 2 last, while McCluskey is out with a long-term groin injury.
Tally is also planning without Gareth McKinless, who suffered a season-ending ACL injury during Ballinderry’s run to the All-Ireland club IFC final in January.
