Glen Rovers are turning to Tomás Mulcahy to revive their fortunes after their 97-year stay in the Cork senior hurling ranks came to an end recently.

The 1990 All-Ireland SHC winning Cork captain and former Sunday Game pundit is se to reprise the role he last held from 2006 to ’09, having served as a selector under Richie Kelleher this year.

Kelleher led the famous northside club to county SHC titles in 2015 and ’16, but couldn’t save them from relegation on his return to the hotseat this season.
