Kerry and Cork will face off in the Munster U20FC final at Austin Stack Park next week following their respective semi-final victories over Clare and Limerick last night.

In Miltown-Malbay, Kerry were pushed hard by a spirited Clare side before eventually prevailing on a 1-11 to 0-8 scoreline. An upset looked to be on the cards when the hosts led by 0-6 to 0-4 at half-time thanks to points from Thomas Meenaghan, Brendan Rouine and Sean McNamara.

Joe Rafferty extended the Banner's advantage after the restart before Declan O'Sullivan's charges finally clicked into gear when scoring an unanswered 1-6 to open up a 1-10 to 0-7 lead by the 47th minute. Cillian Burke supplied the goal in the 40th minute.

During the Kingdom's spell of dominance, Ruairi Murphy was excellent around the middle, while Kevin Goulding and Burke wreaked havoc up front.

Holders Cork had things very much their own way in the other semi-final at Ballyagran where they coasted to a 2-15 to 0-5 victory.

Ryan O'Donovan was outstanding for the winners who led by 0-6 to 0-4 at the break, despite having played against a strong breeze in the first half.

Second half goals from Hugh Murphy and O'Donovan (penalty), coupled with four points from Conor Hanlon, helped the Rebels to an easy win in the end.
