GAA president Jarlath Burns has called on all Gaelic games supporters to get behind this weekend’s All-Ireland camogie championship finals at Croke Park.

Sunday sees Armagh and Cavan clashing in the All-Ireland premier junior final at headquarters (12pm) before Laois and Antrim meet in the intermediate decider (2pm) and then it’s the senior showpiece between holders Galway and Cork (4.15pm).

Looking ahead to the finals, Burns has encouraged followers and members from across Gaelic games to get out and attend them on Sunday afternoon.

“The Camogie Association has worked hard in recent years to promote, market, and generally raise the profile of their games – something borne out by the attendance at their Thurles semi-final double header,” he is quoted saying by GAA.ie.

“At a time when our three organisations are working closer than ever, I wish all six competing counties every success in their efforts to bring All-Ireland silverware home.

“It would be fitting if the existing All-Ireland final record of 30,191 for Camogie finals day set in 2023 was surpassed this weekend and we all have a role to play by turning up and lending our support to these fantastic sporting spectacles.

“I wish everyone involved every success and look forward to another memorable gathering of Gaelic games followers, this time in support of Camogie.”
