Rory Gallagher has taken up a coaching role with Naas.
The former Fermanagh, Donegal and Derry manager joins the Kildare football kingpins after being part of Seamus ‘Banty’ McEnaney’s Corduff management last season. Gallagher was linked with a return to the Derry manager’s position in November before Paddy Tally was eventually appointed after an exhaustive four-month search.
Gallagher was in charge of the Oak Leaf County until days before the 2023 Ulster SFC final when allegations of abuse were made by his estranged wife, Nicola, which he strongly denied.
"Joe Murphy has been reappointed into the role of Naas senior football manager for 2025,” Naas posted on social media.
"Joe has confirmed that his management team will consist of Rory Gallagher, Padraic Cribben, Kevin Martin, Martin Sweeney and Fionn Higgins."
