Offaly maintained their 100% record in Division 2A of the Allianz Hurling League thanks to a dramatic 0-22 to 1-18 victory over Kerry at Fitzgerald Stadium this afternoon.
David Nally’s sideline puck in third minute of injury-time proved the difference for the Faithful men as they snatched both points and condemned their hosts to a first defeat in the process.
Shane Conway’s goal midway through the first-half had helped the Munster men hit the front but they trailed at half-time (0-13 to 1-5) thanks to the points of Eoghan Cahill, Cillian Kiely and Oisin Kelly.
The Kingdom kept the heat on after turnaround though and a sideline from Conway would see them lead towards injury-time before Cahill cancelled it out and Nally darted over the winner with his superb effort (see below).
