Club could have home advantage in Meath SFC final

With Páirc Tailteann unavailable due to redevelopment works, Ashbourne and Trim will host the respective Meath SFC and SHC finals next month.

The Keegan Cup finalists will be decided next weekend when Ratoath and Donaghmore/Ashbourne meet in one semi-final, and holders Summerhill and Wolfe Tones face off in the other. If Donaghmore/Ashbourne get the better of their local rivals, they will have home advantage in the decider which is fixed for Sunday, October 18 at 2pm.

The venues for the other main adult football championship finals have also been confirmed. The JFC final will be played under lights in Simonstown on Friday, October 16 at 8pm, while St Loman’s Park in Trim will stage the IFC final on Saturday, October 17 at 4pm.

Trim will also host the SHC final between Kilmessan and Kiltale on Sunday week, October 11 at 2pm.
