TG4 to showcase Cork and Kerry club championship clashes this Sunday

TG4 is set to bring viewers two big senior club championship clashes this Sunday afternoon.

First up is the Cork Premier senior hurling championship quarter-final between Charleville and Glen Rovers at Mallow (1.30pm). Both sides reached this stage last year, with Charleville losing to eventual champions Sarsfields and Glen Rovers narrowly beaten by eventual finalists Midleton.

The winners will secure a place in the competition’s semi-finals as both clubs look to take another step towards the coveted Seán Óg Murphy Cup.

Later in the afternoon, attentions turn to the Kerry senior football club championship final, where reigning champions Dr Crokes face Rathmore at Fitzgerald Stadium (3.30pm).

Crokes are chasing a third consecutive title and survived a dramatic semi-final against Na Gaeil last weekend, winning 4-2 on penalties after extra-time. Rathmore booked their place in the decider with victory over Milltown/Castlemaine.
