Br Bosco Cup gets underway

The 2023/24 Leinster Post Primary Schools Senior Football 'A' Championship gets underway next week.

Holders Naas CBS travel to Naomh Olaf to face St Benildus College on Wednesday at 1.30pm. Coláiste Eoin and Good Counsel, New Ross face off on the same day at Silverpark.

There are also three first round games down for decision next Tuesday – St Pat’s, Navan v Coláiste Mhuire, Mullingar in Páirc Tailteann, Moate CS v 2020 champions St Joseph’s, Rochfortbridge in Moate and Ardscoil na Trionoide v St Peter’s, Wexford in Athy.

On Thursday, traditional giants St Mel’s College welcome Coláiste Choilm, Tullamore to Longford, while Ardee CS and St Fintan’s HS, Sutton face off in Adree the following Thursday, October 26.

There are seven groups of three, from which two qualify for the knockout stages.
