Former Armagh star Alex Clarke has penned a one-year deal with Scottish Women's Premier Division side Aberdeen.
The Crossmaglen woman is the sister of ex-Armagh ace Jamie Clarke and her move across the water to Scotland sees the 23-year-old leaving Irish League side Linfield for whom she hit the net nine times in 22 appearances.
"It feels really great to be here," Clarke told the Aberdeen website. "Linfield is a great club, I have developed a lot there, but I feel like it is time to move on and continue my progression as a player. It is great to be given this chance. This is an opportunity I couldn’t turn down."
The Scottish Women's Premier League 2025/26 campaign kicks off when Aberdeen pay a visit to defending champions Hibernian on Sunday week, August 17th.
