This evening’s Munster U20FC clash between Tipperary and Kerry has a change of venue due to a bereavement in the Moyne-Templetuohy club.
The game, which has a 7pm throw-in, has been switched from Templetuohy to New Inn following the sad passing of Aoife Shelly. Aoife played ladies football with Moyne-Templetuohy and camogie with JK Brackens.
In a statement, Moyne-Templetuohy said: "Aoife was a very valued member of the Moyne Templetuohy ladies football club and played a big part in winning the Junior A. Co. Final last year. At such a young age, she had already made such a remarkable impact, not only as an exceptional player but also as a beloved teammate and friend.
"We, as the GAA community in Moyne-Templetuohy and especially her ladies Football team mates extend our heartfelt sympathies to her mother and father, who raised such a talented, kind, friendly and determined young woman. We can only imagine the depth of their sorrow, and we hope they find strength in knowing how deeply she was loved and admired."
