Meath were forced to borrow a set of jerseys from Gaultier LGFA for their Lidl National Ladies League clash with Waterford in Dungarvan last Sunday.
The 2021 and ’22 All-Ireland champions travelled to Fraher Field with their alternative white jerseys in the expectation that Waterford would be decked out in blue. But when it emerged that the home side would be wearing white, Gaultier came to the rescue by providing a set of jerseys to Meath, who looked very much at home in their green and gold strip.
It was a fruitful trip for the Royals who prevailed by 2-10 to 2-5 to make it three wins from three in Division 1.
