A Donegal teenager has joined an elite band to have played senior football for their county before their club.
Naomh Conaill's Finbarr Roarty, who celebrates his 18th birthday today, was handed his Donegal senior debut by Jim McGuinness in last night's 3-16 to 1-6 Dr McKenna Cup first round victory over Armagh at Ballybofey.
A student at St Columba’s Glenties Comprehensive, he set up man of the match Michael Langan for an early goal and left his mark on the game before being replaced midway through the second half.
