Brian Carthy's 'The Championship 2023' is out now
Gaelic Games commentator, journalist and author, Brian Carthy looks back on the 2023 Football, Hurling, Ladies Football and Camogie Championships in his comprehensive book which provides the results of every single senior game in all four codes.
Brian also provides brief reports on the All-Ireland Football & Hurling Finals and includes the lineups and clubs from the competing counties of Dublin, Kerry, Limerick and Kilkenny.
Brian Carthy commentated for RTÉ Radio on Football, Hurling, Camogie and Ladies Football for nearly 35 years and now presents a popular Sunday night GAA results Podcast.
A native of Ballymore, a townland at the foothills of Sliabh Bán, near Strokestown in County Roscommon, Brian has written some 29 books, including the best-selling 'Football Captains, The All-Ireland Winners'.
In recognition of his contribution to the coverage of Gaelic Games, Brian Carthy was honoured with a 'Hall of Fame, McNamee Award' from the GAA and a 'Lifetime Achievement Award' from the Gaelic Writers Association.
