Kerry great Tomás Ó Sé feels that the Kingdom “seem to be coming at the right time” in this summer’s All-Ireland senior football championship race.
The All-Ireland champions dished out a 4-18 to 0-17 hammering Armagh on Saturday in Killarney, where the Ulster champions exited the championship, and have since drawn Tyrone in the last eight of the Sam Maguire Cup race.
Speaking on last night’s Sunday Game programme, five-time All-Ireland winner Ó Sé said he doesn’t see a team that are on Kerry’s level at the moment,
"I think it’s Kerry’s to lose," he said. "I don’t see any team right now that they would fear.
"There is a huge work-rate and they seem to be coming at the right time.
"They have four All-Stars to come in and I think they have to prove themselves. Shane Ryan, Seán O’Shea, Gavin White and Tom O’Sullivan, who are they going to replace?
"It’s very hard to take out what you have there. Right now, in terms of kickouts, attack and defence, I don’t see a team that are at their level right now."
