Aidan McKenna will miss Derrygonnelly’s Ulster Club SFC preliminary clash with Kilcoo on Sunday after his red card appeal was unsuccessful.

McKenna was dismissed on a straight red card for striking out at an opponent after only 18 minutes of the Harps’ Fermanagh SFC final victory over Erne Gaels. It took a late Shane McGullion goal to secure the New York Cup for Derrygonnelly who also head into the provincial campaign without the injured McGullion.

The Brewster Park encounter is a repeat of the 2019 Ulster Club SFC semi-final and the 2021 Ulster Club SFC final which both ended in Kilcoo victories.
