Damien Comer all but sealed Galway’s place in the All-Ireland senior football championship final with this goal against Derry at Croke Park this evening.
Chasing the game with six minutes to go, Derry poured forward in numbers that included ‘keeper Odrhan Lynch whom was around centre-field when Conor Glass was dispossessed by Liam Silke.
The Corofin man fed Comer and the Galway full-forward hit an empty net from some 35 metres out to increase the Connacht champions’ lead to nine points.
