Monaghan GAA has linked up with Carrickmacross based Kerry Foods to provide free frozen ready meals to local people in need of assistance.

The General Manager of Kerry Foods in Carrick', John Kieran , contacted Monaghan GAA Executive and together they organised a delivery network through the clubs of the county.

Vulnerable individuals who are cocooning or struggling for food can contact their local GAA clubs and also St Vincent de Paul and the Lion Clubs who have made all this possible.

Local clubs have been delivering the meals over the past week.
