Galway manager Micheál Donoghue has named an unchanged side for Sunday’s All-Ireland senior hurling championship final against Limerick.

The Tribesmen defeated Cork by nine points at Croke Park last Saturday week and Donoghue has kept the faith for this Sunday’s big game at headquarters (throw-in 3.30pm).

It sees Darren Morrissey captaining the side from left corner-back while Cillian Trayers lines out at full-back and Daithi Burke named at centre half-back.

Loughrea’s Tiernan Kelly and Gavin Lee partner each other at centre-field and, in attack, Cathal Mannion play at centre half-forward while Jason Rabbitte is named at full-forward where he’s flanked by Conor Whelan and fellow U20 star Aaron Niland.

Burke, Padraic Mannion, Cathal Mannion and Conor Whelan are all survivors from Galway’s 2018 All-Ireland SHC final defeat to Limerick, with Conor Cooney, who started at full-forward that day, named on the bench for Sunday.
