Three county senior finals on the schedule this weekend while provincial championships get underway

The first weekend in November sees three county senior championship finals down for decision.

On Saturday afternoon, the Roscommon senior football championship final replay between Padraig Pearses and St Brigid's takes place at King and Moffatt Dr Hyde Park (2.30pm), while the Waterford SFC decider between Rathgormack and The Nire throws in at 2pm at Fraher Field.

Later that evening, defending champions Loughrea face eight-time winners St Thomas’ in the Galway senior hurling championship final at Pearse Stadium (6pm).

This weekend also sees the All-Ireland senior club football and hurling championship races getting underway, with the following provincial clashes:

Leinster club SFC
Old Leighlin (Carlow) v Portarlington (Laois), Saturday, 6.15pm
Summerhill (Meath) v Killoe Young Emmets (Longford), Sunday, 1.30pm
Baltinglass (Wicklow) v Athy (Kildare), Sunday, 1.30pm

Munster club SHC
Na Piarsaigh (Limerick) v Ballygunner (Waterford), Sunday, 3.30pm

Ulster club SFC
Newbridge (Derry) v Dunloy (Antrim), Saturday, 6pm
