Donegal boss Jim McGuinness says “there's going to be nothing easy” when it comes to trying to curtail Kerry’s marquee forwards this Sunday at Croke Park.
Led by their ace David Clifford, who has scored 8-53 in this year’s championship to date, the Kingdom’s attack has been relentless in the last two games, shooting down holders Armagh and Tyrone, respectively, to book their county’s third All-Ireland SFC final berth in four years.
Speaking at Donegal's press night ahead of the big showdown with the Munster champions at Croke Park, McGuinness touched on the challenge that awaits his group in trying to stop Clifford & Co from sinking their Sam Maguire Cup hopes this weekend.
"It's a huge challenge but obviously there's a number of what you would call marquee forwards in the Kerry team,” he is quoted saying by BelfastLive.co.uk.
“His brother (Paudie) is obviously in that bracket as well and Sean O'Shea and a lot of many other players that have been incredible servants that know their way around Croke Park.
"So the challenge on that front is absolutely huge but, at the end of the day, all challenges at this level of the competition are going to be huge. You're playing in the biggest game of the year and there's going to be nothing easy, there's going to be nothing easy."
