Prior to last night's Wexford SFC quarter-final clash between Shelmaliers and Starlights at Bree, players on both sides lined up to shake hands with referee Jimmy Heavey.
Following recent incidents of alleged abuse of match officials in the county, Wexford GAA have introduced the 'Give Respect, Get Respect' handshake before matches, a new initiative adopted as a way of getting an important message across that abuse of referees will not be tolerated.
Holders Shelmaliers advanced to the last four with a 3-11 to 0-5 victory over Starlights after early goals from Eoghan Nolan and Brian Malone set them on the way.
