Kilmacud Crokes claimed their fifth consecutive Dublin LGFA senior club championship title with a 0-16 to 0-10 victory over Clontarf at Parnell Park last night.

The sides were level at 0-6 apiece at half-time, but Crokes took control after the break, holding Clontarf to just four second-half points.

Niamh Cotter was outstanding for the champions, scoring eight points from frees, while Ailbhe Davoren and Sadhbh Murphy added three points each from play.

Clontarf had a chance to close the gap when awarded a second-half penalty, but Dearbhla Gower saved Ailbhe Clancy's effort.

Crokes remained composed to secure another title in the capital, with captain Éabha Rutledge lifting the Michael Murphy Memorial Cup.
