Galway v Derry clash switched to Salthill

Galway’s Allianz Football League Division 1 Round 4 meeting with Derry on Sunday, February 25 has been moved from Tuam Stadium to Pearse Stadium.
According to Galway Bay FM, Tuam Stadium will not be available to host the game due to ongoing redevelopment works. However, it will be ready to host Galway’s Connacht U20FC games against Leitrim and Sligo on March 20 and April 3 respectively.
Works on the new stand in Tuam are progressing at pace and were made possible thanks to a donation of €350,000 from the late Joe and Helen O’Toole of O’Toole’s Tuam, who committed to supporting the refurbishment in 2018.
