RTÉ Sport has announced its packed GAA coverage schedule over the coming weeks and months as the 2020 inter-county season gets set to resume this weekend.
All in all, 20 games are set to be shown on The Sunday Game Live with 16 more available through GAAGO, starting with tomorrow’s Division 2 football clash between Armagh and Roscommon at the Athletic Grounds (throw-in 5.15pm, RTÉ 2) right up to the All-Ireland SFC final on December 19th.
The national broadcaster’s championship coverage will kick-off on Sunday week, October 25th when Clare and Limerick meet in the Munster SHC at Semple Stadium.
RTÉ Group Head of Sport Declan McBennett says they are working to make sure that the maximum amount of games will be made available to view for viewers this winter.
“If the public health situation allows, RTÉ Sport will produce more live games this year than ever before, across television, radio and online, in addition to working with our partners in GAAGO to ensure supporters have access to our national games in an exceptional year,” he stated.
“Bringing additional games to the public during this uncertain time is core to RTÉ’s public service remit, and we look forward to working with BBC Northern Ireland to ensure the maximum number of games are made available to the audience.”
RTÉ’s coverage includes:
20 live games on RTÉ One, RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player
12 live All-Ireland Championship games streamed on GAAGO

All live games also available on-demand on RTÉ Player, alongside additional clips and extras for each game
