Tyrone could yet have Darragh Canavan available for the last two rounds of the Allianz Football League after his planned flight to Australia last weekend was grounded by the conflict in the Middle East.

Thousands of flights in the region have been suspended as a result of the US-Israel war on Iran. And with the Middle East being a major hub for onward flights to Australia, Canavan's planned trip has been put on hold for now.

The Errigal Ciaran clubman was due to spend a month Down Under, but could now feature against Meath in Croke Park on Saturday week and Cork the following Sunday in what would be an unexpected boost to the Red Hands, who still have an outside chance of gaining promotion from Division 2.
