Mayo GAA has launched an investigation into an incident that led to the abandonment of a minor football semi-final last evening.
Midwest Radio is reporting that the game between Castlebar Mitchels and Westport was marred by an incident involving a player and an adult non-player who entered the field with Castlebar leading 2-5 to 1-2.
The game at Josie Munnelly Park was duly abandoned by the referee and Mayo GAA has now launched a probe into the matter.
