Make sure you purchase your ticket in advance of Allianz league matches

January 29, 2022

Supporters will be back out in force this weekend.

The GAA has confirmed ticket arrangements ahead of the start of the 2022 Allianz football and hurling leagues.

All tickets must be bought in advance of arriving to stadiums as it is no longer possible to buy them on the day at turnstiles or ticket offices.

For €15 or €10, tickets can be purchased online via the official GAA website or in store at Centra and Supervalu up until the day. The Association had previously offered supporters a reduction on pre-purchased tickets.

The Covid-19 pandemic has sped up the GAA's move away from cash checkouts around grounds. Patrons will need to scan their tickets or mobile e-tickets at the gates.

With a full round of football league fixtures down for decision across the country, this weekend marks a major milestone for the GAA as matches take place without any restrictions on crowd numbers for the first time in almost two years.
