Meath's Pearse Sheridan

Managers Barry Callaghan and Sean Kelly have named the Meath starting 15 for tonight’s Leinster U20 FC semi-final fixture with Dublin in Pairc Tailteann (7.30pm).

There are seven survivors from the team that captured Leinster MFC honours back in 2018 at Kildare’s expense.

These include captain James O’Hare, goalkeeper Sean Brennan, Harry O’Higgins, Conor Farrelly, Conor Harford, Sean Coffey and Luke Kelly.

The Royals have had to plan minus the services of Cathal Hickey and Mathew Costello who are likely to feature in Sunday’s Leinster SFC semi-final with Dublin but another senior panelist, Jack Flynn will line out at midfield.

Three members of the 2020 Leinster minor winning squad are named amongst the substitutes – Eoghan Frayne, Ciaran Caulfield and Adam McDonnell.
