Former Offaly and Rhode footballer Paraic Sullivan has taken Offaly and Kildare County Councils to task after puncturing two tyres on the Edenderry to Rathangan Road yesterday.
Sullivan described the road as "an absolute disgrace" after hitting two potholes in quick succession.
Edenderry to Rathangan road is an absolute disgrace and shameful that both Offaly and Kildare county council allow people to drive in these conditions. Hit pothole, tyre destroyed, changed it, 300 metres down the road hit another. Tyre destroyed. Road tax for what??? pic.twitter.com/bdnuecwNHh
