Carlow GAA supporters were shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden death of popular Netwatch Cullen Park steward Eamon Dowling yesterday.
The Asca clubman was a familiar and friendly face to match-goers at Carlow GAA HQ and at the Centre of Excellence in nearby Fenagh. Honoured with an 'Outstanding Service Award' by the county board in 2016, Carlow GAA described him as "one of our great volunteers" who was "ever-present on the turnstiles in NCP and Fenagh".
The wider CarlowGAA community is in mourning as we received the sad news that one of our great volunteers Eamon Dowling has passed away suddenly.
